Renovate, furnish and establish the Smithville Baptist Health Centre, Clarendon, Jamaica
On July 6, 2022, in the district of Smithville, Clarendon, Jamaica, the life of Imogene Bryant was cut short due to a stroke. Her death was attributed to the lack of prompt medical attention, as the closest medical facility is over an hour away.
Upon arrival at the hospital, the doctors said they could do nothing because she got to the hospital TOO LATE.
Had there been a medical facility in Smithville, Imogene could have survived.
On that day, the community lost an outstanding wife and mother, a former banker, a community advocate(community health center and community training facility), an elementary school teacher, a school board member, and a Sunday school superintendent.
This incident has spurred the board members of Faith with Love International Inc., especially the CEO, daughter of Imogene, to work assiduously and urgently to raise $50,000 to renovate, furnish and establish a local health clinic in Smithville, Clarendon. This clinic will cater to Smithville and the adjoining communities of Thompson Town, Mocho, Victoria, Effort, Nine Turns, Lesterfield, Bloomfield, and Elgin, thereby serving approximately 30,000 people, all of whom lack of proper access to healthcare services.
We are therefore soliciting a generous donation to this cause.
Thank you for your generosity!
Sincerely,
Melisha Williams
